Points Commander Rules

Hello everyone, welcome to Points Commander, an even more casual Commander format we wanted to share with the world. It was born from a desire to stop killing each other in Commander and make the game feel more like a race to the top. I hope you like the format. Objective

Be first to reach 50 points or 21 commander damage.
When a player wins, mark their place and keep playing for the remaining places.

Points Replace Life

Players start at 0 points and cannot go below 0.
Life gain: gain that many points.
Life loss: lose that many points, to a minimum of 0.
Damage you take: the player who dealt it gains that many points.
Paying life: pay with points instead, spending that many points.
If a card checks life total, use points total.

Combat

When you deal damage to a player, you gain that many points.
Commander damage is tracked separately for the attacking commander, up to 21.
Commander damage also gives the attacker that many normal points.

Card Adjustments

Annihilator gives the attacking player that many points instead of sacrifices.
If you would draw from an empty library, you win instead.

Have fun, and always remember Rule 0 above all.

How this app works

Score

Tap the top half of a player panel to go up.
Tap the bottom half to go down.
Hold + or - for larger changes.
Hold a finished place to correct it.

Commander Damage

Tap CMD to open that player’s commander damage.
Tap the commander that dealt the damage.
Hold a commander tile to adjust up or down.
Use the floating X to return quickly.

Tools

Roll dice from Tools.
Turn on Crown, Energy, Poison, Rad, or XP counters.
Tap a counter to add one.
Hold a counter to adjust it up or down.

Table

The top players are mirrored for people sitting across the table.
Tap a player name for profiles; hold and drag it to swap seats.
Hold the centre diamond to randomly choose the first player.
History records game actions and can undo the latest one.
Android back closes app menus before leaving the app.
